นายนิตย์ กวีวัฒน์ ชาวแม่ฮ่องสอนโดยกำเนิด ปัจจุบันเป็นชาวอังกฤษ ในอาชีพเชฟทำอาหารไทย และเทรนเนอร์นักมวยอังกฤษ เปิดเผยว่า ในวันนี้ ( 30 ) ที่เมืองแมนเชสเตอร์ ประเทศอังกฤษ ตนได้จัดมวยไทยเด็กอังกฤษ ซึ่งมีนักมวยเด็กขึ้นชกทั้งหมด 50 คู่ โดยมีกติกาการชก คือห้ามชกบริเวณใบหน้าเด็ดขาด ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากทางประเทศอังกฤษ ได้เน้นเรื่องความปลอดภัยของเด็กเป็นหลัก แต่เพื่อการส่งเสริมการกีฬา จึงอนุญาตให้มีการจัดมวยเด็กขึ้นมาได้ และ ในการจัดมวยดังกล่าว ถือเป็นการจัดขึ้นครั้งแรกในประเทศอังกฤษ ซึ่งขณะนี้ได้จำหน่ายตั๋วเข้าชมไปหมดแล้ว จำนวน 30,000 คน ซึ่งถือว่ายิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศอังกฤษอีกด้วย และโปรโมเตอร์คนแรกของอังกฤษคนแรกที่จัดมวยกลางแจ้ง ในประเทศอังกฤษเหมือนงานวัดในไทย
Nidt Caweewat or Khomsorn Sornphikatsuek, a former boxer from Mae Hong Son Province, Thailand who held two champion titles, Bantum Weight and Junior Flyweight. He was former Thai national boxing team coach during 1996-1997. He currently organized Muay Thai boxing matches for youth living in Manchester to build the foundation of Muay Thai sports and promote Thai boxing for foreigners
