HM Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother on Her 91st Birthday Anniversary Celebration. 

Queen Sirikit is regarded as mother to all Thai people, thus her birthday is also celebrated as Mother’s Day and observed as a Thai national holiday.

The Early Years 

Her Majesty Queen Sirikit is the daughter of H.H. Prince Chandaburi Suranath (M.C. Nakkhat Mongkol Kitiyakara) and his consort Mom Luang Bua Kitiyakara (nee Mom Luang Bua Snidvongs). Prince Chandaburi Suranath was the third son of H.R.H. Prince Chandaburi Suranath and H.S.H. Princess Absarasman Kitiyakara.

She was born on August 12, 1932. The year 1932 is a significant one: it was the year when constitutional monarchy was introduced into Thailand. Her father was a prominent and capable Major-General in the Thai Army at the time of the constitutional change. He left the army and went to serve as First Secretary at the Thai Legation in Washington D.C. As HM the Queen was then still a little child, she remained in Bangkok in the charge of her relatives. She did not see her parents again until their return home.

She attended the Kindergarten class at Rajini School. But subsequently went to St. Francis Xavier School at Samsen District in Bangkok in order to be nearer to home. Her father later on became Thai Minister to France, to Denmark and ultimately Ambassador to the Court of St. James. Her Majesty accompanied him and continued her general education in the three countries and lastly in Switzerland.

Wisavej Wattanasuk

Inspiration in Creating Art

It was a great opportunity for me when Wisavej Wattanasuk traveled to Chiang Mai province during October 24-26 2020 to present "Maha Muni Sri Mongkol", a Buddha image with the face of the emperor. He designed and built it for Buddhist worship at Buak Khrok Nuea Temple, Saraphi District, Chiang Mai Province. And it was an opportunity for me to schedule an interview with an artist whom I admire: his various activities in which he has helped Thai society, along with painting work, design work for Thai Buddha sculptures, teaching, and becoming a hectic photographer. His work is seen continuously. 

He brought his paintings as beautiful pictures of the Royal Family in the Chakri dynasty which were printed images from the original to be distributed free of charge to government sectors and private sectors, and to be used to decorate the place by investing their work with suitable picture frames, at his expense. On special days such as Father's day, Wisavej Wattanasuk visited the hospitals. to visit the patients every year to give them the prints of the Rama IX. 

Surprisingly, in the following years, he returned to receive payments from people and agencies, temples and charities to encourage him to do activities like this.

 

"I have been working on art together with teaching art for a long time since graduating from the Faculty of Painting at Silpakorn University The work that is done continuously is to create realistic portraits.

 

If asked about the inspiration for making art, for me, it was "love." As a kid, I drew pictures because I loved art. I loved natural beauty, whether people, animals, objects, or things around them. So I grew up as an artist. 

Love can create a miracle in art. At that time the Faculty of Painting Silpakorn University, where I graduated, the dean invited representatives of alumni of every generation to paint a picture to commemorate the King, a few weeks after the King's death. The faculty gave time for artists, alumni of each generation to send representatives to paint pictures, size two meters by two meters, with a time limit of three days. They were beautiful. 

While creating, I don't know where my energy comes from, not taking a break, not eating anything. For me, it is the miracle of creating works of art made out of love.

 

Inspiration for art in the present: In the past, we were all recipients from the hard work of King Rama IX throughout his life. And all the masters in the Chakri Dynasty worked hard for all Thai people, thus creating art for the rest of my life. Therefore, I want to be a "giver" by creating works of paintings to fully serve the monarchy, nation, and society of Thailand, as far as artists like me can."

JY. Did you have important drawings that the reader would like to see or design work? 

WW. Most of my work pictures are pictures of His Majesty the King and Queen. The latest work will be pictures of King Rama IX and the Queen, enshrined at the main meeting room, Government Housing Bank, Head Office. This was a previously received kindness from Mr. Chatchai Sirilai, Managing Director who kindly assigned this important work once again.

The Government Housing Bank, it is another organization that allows me to participate in art exhibitions and have the opportunity to offer money to the King Rama IX on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the marriage on April 28, 2010.

At that time, I was a Coordinator of the bank's Corporate Communications Department. There is an art exhibition to honor this occasion at Siam Paragon. All of my paintings, which are pictures of King Rama IX and the Queen, including the image of the Prince in every Mahidol family, a total of 12 pictures and I created a large picture, the family of King Rama IX, consisting of the two monks and the four princes. 

It may be a coincidence or a good fortune that in most of my past works I had the opportunity to often paint pictures of the Royal Family. The first I had the opportunity to create a photo for was Her Royal Highness Princess Prince Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Narathiwat Ratchanakarin in 1999.

Another of the works is a pair of photographs of His Majesty King Rama IX and the Queen that was auctioned on the agenda "The 50th anniversary of the coronation." At that time, the winning bid was 1 million baht. 

JY. Please tell me about your life, history of schoolwork, family, work done, and experience as a designer and painting? 

WW. Is it strange? I like art, love drawing, but study science. Graduated from elementary school until the end of secondary school. My mother wanted me to become a physician, so she was a science kid until the end. During elementary school and middle school, I represented the school to compete in art contests often, most of which always received awards. I liked to create pictures, create cartoons, and take photocopies to sell them at school. And with a passion for painting a beautiful 'Miss Thai' since childhood, My dream came true in 2003. After finishing the Faculty of Painting for three-four years, I had the opportunity to work with the Miss Thai contest.

 

I am a person who never closes myself. Who dreamed of being a teacher like my mother. Who likes watching beauty queens has been a member of Na Ngam or even a team of beauty pageant managers. Or an advisor to the competition division. Dreaming of becoming a photographer, I had the opportunity to become an amateur photographer and journalist for the past 10 years, in addition to taking pictures of beauty pageants in the country. Had the opportunity to take pictures of the international beauty queen Whether it's Miss World in Sanya, Hainan Island, Miss International in Japan, Miss Tourism Queen International in China, it's been a great experience. Because taking pictures of beauty queens is not easy, especially the stage image. The light and sound will change the exposure all the time. Portrait photography, taking pictures of beauty queens, we have to convey the aesthetics of a woman or the identity of that kind. For me, everything that I have said has been done, everything is a work of art as well.

 

JY. Could you tell us about the performance of impressive events?

 

WW. I am impressed by the artwork. Own every work. But there is a very impressive event. About two years ago, I received a call from an elder who had been looking for me. He wanted me to paint a portrait of him. To be installed at the office of the SEC or the Securities and Exchange Commission

 

Later, I was very surprised. I learned that this picture is his favorite picture. Put it in the office where he has been the executive for the past 10 years It gives young artists like me a lot of morale for their work. I'm so proud to have been an adult's favorite. Have been admired in our work for over ten years. You still have to find us and allow us to meet with past works as well.

 

Another impressive work is having the opportunity to design and construct a Buddha image with a Naga, presented on the occasion by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Siam Boromrajakumari.  On April 2, 2015, this time, I was assigned by Chitralada Old Students Association to design and operate the building. With the creation of Phra Buddha Nakinthrarak. The Buddha image, lap width 60 inches, to be enshrined in the left side of the entrance to Nan On the opposite side of Thong Noi Pratumnak Including the creation of the Buddha Nakinthrarak, a replica of a five-inch lap for the general public to rent and worship in the merit of that time as well. The rental price of the Buddha image five years ago was about 20,000 baht, but nowadays, the value of the worship of this Buddha statue has gone up to 200,000 baht, I am very proud of the design and construction of the Buddha image. More successful than expected 

JY. What about the future and the path of art?

 

WW. When I learned that I wanted to do art as a giver rather than a recipient, I therefore continued to work on art from the Art for Father project. I intended to paint a picture of His Majesty King Rama IX and give it to Bhumibol Hospital on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the hospital in 2021. The new patient building and another picture: the director of the hospital asked me to create a picture to stick inside the Khum Klao building Hospital reception hall area.

 

I have yet another solo exhibition project entitled "The King of the Chakri and Khatiyanari Dynasty of Siam" to bring income from the exhibition for purchasing a dialysis machine and medical equipment to donate to the hospitals in the southern border, three hospitals that King Rama IX created or according to the hospital that lacked such medical equipment. Offering as a royal charity through a project or agency I want to paint pictures of the 10 reigns. In the past the many monarchs made tremendous benefits to our country. I want the future generations to be aware of the Thai nation that the journey of Thai people does not just begin the moment we were born. We should never forget the roots of our people.

 

I have had the opportunity to work in many other areas According to the dream that I had set. So I have to turn around and ask myself what we want to do in life. Although all the time, I still do painting and artwork continuously. But I still feel that I am not at the peak of my art. I did not walk in the art path fully. I was used to having national works Show some work, but it was like setting off fireworks and then disappearing back to a comfort zone. Some of my peers of the same generation are constantly in the art scene, beautiful, or some are still not at their peak like me. Indeed, humans have no limitations in their work. Some people might think that Age has been reached at middle age. It should be difficult to get famous because there are many young artists. Happens every day But come on, now, from my experience, I think there are no rules. There is no teaching in any religion that says: The limits of human work will stop at a young age or early age. But especially in the arts, if we are open to wanting ourselves to be famous or to be successful in this path you just need to do it. Do it until someone turns your attention. Admire your work. Whether you are 50 years old, 60 years old, or even 70 years old, I think it's the same destination. We just return to believe in ourselves. True faith in your work The success of everyone is never too far away.

แรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะ

เป็นโอกาสอันดีสำหรับดิฉันที่ คุณวิศเวศ วัฒนสุข เดินทางมาจังหวัด

เชียงใหม่ระหว่างวันที่ 24-26 ตุลาคม 2563เพื่อถวาย "พระมหามุนีศรี

มงคล" พระพุทธรูปที่มีแบบพระพักตร์ของพระจักรพรรดิ เขาได้ออกแบบ

และจัดสร้างเพื่อเป็นพุทธบูชา ณ. วัดบวกครกเหนืออำเภอสารภีจังหวัด

เชียงใหม่ และเป็นโอกาสที่ดิฉันจะได้นัดสัมภาษณ์ศิลปินที่ ดิฉันชื่นชม

นั่นคือกิจกรรมต่างๆของเขาที่เขาได้ช่วยเหลือสังคมไทยควบคู่ไปกับงาน

วาดภาพงานออกแบบงานปั้นพระพุทธรูปของไทย การสอนวาดรูปและการ

เป็นช่างภาพที่ไม่เคยหยุดยั้งในการสร้างสรรค์  ผลงานของเขามีให้เห็น

อย่างต่อเนื่อง

 

วิศเวศ วัฒนสุข นำภาพวาดด้วยฝีมือตนเองเป็นภาพพระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ใน

ราชวงศ์จักรีที่สวยงาม ซึ่งเป็นภาพพิมพ์จากต้นฉบับ  เพื่อเผยแพร่ให้กับ

หน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนโดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายและนำไปใช้ตกแต่ง

สถานที่โดยลงทุนลงแรงด้วยการเลือกภาพที่เหมาะสม มีการนำไปใส่

กรอบอย่างเรียบร้อย ด้วยค่าใช้จ่ายส่วนตัวของเขา ในวันพิเศษเช่น วันพ่อ

วิศเวศ วัฒนสุข ไปเยี่ยมคนเจ็บป่วยในโรงพยาบาล ไปเยี่ยมผู้ป่วยทุกปี

เพื่อมอบภาพพิมพ์รัชกาลที่ 9 ให้กับพลเรือนและทหารตำรวจที่เจ็บไข้

 

น่าแปลกใจมาก ที่ในปีต่อ ๆ มาเขากลับมารับเงินจากผู้คนและหน่วยงาน

ต่างๆ วัดและองค์กรการกุศลเพื่อสนับสนุนให้เขาทำกิจกรรมเช่นนี้

 

ผมทำงานศิลปะควบคู่ไปกับการสอนศิลปะมานานตั้งแต่เรียนจบคณะ

จิตรกรรมที่มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากรงานที่ทำอย่างต่อเนื่องคือการสร้างภาพ

บุคคลเหมือนจริง

 

ถ้าถามถึงแรงบันดาลใจในการทำศิลปะสำหรับผม สิ่งนั้น คือ "ความรัก"

ตอนเป็นเด็กผมวาดรูปเพราะผมชอบศิลปะ ผมชอบความงามตามธรรมชาติ

ไม่ว่าจะเป็นคนสัตว์สิ่งของหรือสิ่งของรอบตัว ดังนั้นผมจึงเติบโตขึ้นมาใน

ฐานะศิลปิน

 

ความรักสามารถสร้างความมหัศจรรย์ในงานศิลปะ มีอยู่คราหนึ่งที่คณะ

จิตรกรรมมหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ซึ่งผมเรียนจบมา ท่านคณบดีได้เชิญ

ตัวแทนศิษย์เก่าทุกรุ่นมาวาดภาพเพื่อรำลึกถึงในหลวงไม่กี่สัปดาห์

หลังจากในหลวงสวรรคต คณะได้ให้เวลาศิลปินศิษย์เก่าแต่ละรุ่นส่ง

ตัวแทนมาวาดภาพขนาดสองเมตรคูณสองเมตรโดยมีเวลา จำกัด สามวัน

แต่งานออกมาสวยสดงดงาม

 

ในขณะที่สร้างสรรค์ งาน ผมไม่รู้ว่าพลังงานของผมมาจากไหนไม่หยุดพัก

ไม่กินอะไรเลย สำหรับผมมันคือความมหัศจรรย์ของการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน

ศิลปะที่ทำมาจากความรัก

 

แรงบันดาลใจในการทำงานศิลปะในปัจจุบัน ที่ผ่านมาเราทุกคนต่างเป็น

ผู้รับผลงานจากในหลวงรัชกาลที่ 9 มาตลอดชีวิต และเจ้านายทุกคนใน

ราชวงศ์จักรีทำงานหนักเพื่อคนไทยทุกคน เวลาในการสร้างสรรค์งาน

ศิลปะมาตลอดชีวิตของผม  จึงอยากเป็น "ผู้ให้" ด้วยการสร้างสรรค์

ผลงานภาพวาดเพื่อรับใช้สถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ประเทศชาติและ

สังคมไทยอย่างเต็มที่เท่าที่ศิลปินอย่างผมจะทำได้

 

JY.คุณมีภาพวาดสำคัญที่อยากให้ ผู้อ่าน ได้ดู หรือออกงานออกแบบ

อื่นๆหรือไม่?

 

WW.ภาพงานของผมส่วนใหญ่เป็นภาพ ในพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว

และสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าพระบรมราชินีนาถ ผลงานล่าสุดจะเป็นภาพในหลวง

รัชกาลที่ 9 และพระราชินีประดิษฐาน ณ. ห้องประชุมใหญ่ธนาคารอาคาร

สงเคราะห์สำนักงานใหญ่   ก่อนหน้านี้ได้รับความกรุณาจากคุณฉัตรชัย

 

ศิริไล กรรมการผู้จัดการที่กรุณามอบหมายงานสำคัญนี้อีกครั้ง

 

ธนาคารอาคารสงเคราะห์เป็นอีกองค์กรหนึ่งที่เปิดโอกาสให้ผมได้เข้าร่วม

แสดงผลงานศิลปะและมีโอกาสถวายเงินแด่ในหลวงรัชกาลที่ 9 เนื่องใน

โอกาสราชาภิเษกสมรสครบ 60 ปีเมื่อวันที่ 28 เมษายน 2553

 

ตอนนั้นผมเป็นเจ้าหน้าที่ประสานงานฝ่ายสื่อสารองค์กรของธนาคาร มี

นิทรรศการศิลปะเฉลิมพระเกียรติครั้งนี้ที่สยามพารากอน ภาพวาดทั้งหมด

ของผม ซึ่งเป็นภาพของในหลวงรัชกาลที่ 9 และพระราชินีรวมทั้งภาพของ

สมเด็จเจ้าฟ้าในราชสกุล มหิดลทุกพระองค์ รวม 12 ภาพและผมได้สร้าง

ภาพขนาดใหญ่ เป็นภาพครอบครัวของในหลวงรัชกาลที่ ๙ ประกอบด้วย

พระรูปของล้นเกล้าทั้ง 2 พระองค์ และ เจ้าฟ้าทั้ง 4 พระองค์

 

อาจจะเป็นความบังเอิญ หรือเป็นความโชคดีที่ผลงานส่วนใหญ่ที่ผ่านมา

ของผม ที่มีโอกาสได้วาดภาพของพระราชวงศ์บ่อยๆ คนแรกที่มีโอกาส

วาดภาพให้คือสมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอเจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนากรมหลวง

นราธิวาสราชนครินทร์เมื่อปี 2542

 

อีกหนึ่งผลงานคือภาพวาดของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่9

และพระราชินี ที่ประมูลในวาระ ครบรอบ ราชาภิเษกสมรสครบ 50 ปี  ตอน

นั้นชนะประมูล 1 ล้านบาท

 

JY. ช่วยเล่าเกี่ยวกับชีวิตของคุณประวัติการเรียน ครอบครัวงานที่ทำและ

ประสบการณ์กับนักออกแบบและวาดภาพ?

 

WW.จะแปลกมั้ยครับ ผมชอบศิลปะรักการวาดภาพ แต่เรียนสาย

วิทยาศาสตร์ จบการศึกษาตั้งแต่ชั้นประถมศึกษาจนถึงมัธยมศึกษาตอน

ปลายแม่ของผม อยากให้ ผมเรียนเพื่อจะเป็นแพทย์ ผมเป็นเด็กสาย

วิทยาศาสตร์จนจบ ในช่วงประถมศึกษาและมัธยมต้นผมเป็นตัวแทนของ

โรงเรียนเพื่อเข้าแข่งขันศิลปะบ่อยครั้งซึ่งส่วนใหญ่ได้รับรางวัลเสมอ ผม

ชอบออกแบบภาพ สร้างการ์ตูนและถ่ายเอกสารไปขายที่โรงเรียน และ

ด้วยความหลงใหลในการวาดภาพ 'นางสาวไทย'ที่สวยงามมาตั้งแต่เด็ก

ความฝันของผมก็เป็นจริงในปี พ.ศ. 2546 หลังจากจบคณะจิตรกรรมได้

สามสี่ปีผมโอกาสได้ทำงานกับกองประกวดนางสาวไทย

 

ผมเป็นคนที่ไม่เคยปิดตัวเอง ที่ใฝ่ฝันอยากเป็นอาจารย์เหมือนคุณแม่  เป็น

คนชอบดูนางงามเคยเป็นสมาชิกนางามหรือแม้แต่ทีมผู้จัดการประกวด

นางงาม หรือที่ปรึกษากองการแข่งขันความใฝ่ฝันอยากเป็นช่างภาพ และ

ผมมีโอกาสเป็นช่างภาพสมัครเล่นและนักข่าวตลอด 10 ปีที่ผ่านมา

นอกเหนือจากการถ่ายภาพประกวดนางงามในประเทศ ได้มีโอกาส

ถ่ายภาพนางงามนานาชาติไม่ว่าจะเป็น Miss World ที่ซานย่า เกาะ

ไหหลำ Miss International in Japan   Miss Tourism Queen

International ในประเทศจีนถือเป็นประสบการณ์ที่ยอดเยี่ยม เพราะการ

ถ่ายภาพนางงามไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายโดยเฉพาะภาพบนเวที แสงและเสียงจะ

ปรับเปลี่ยน การรับแสงตลอดเวลา การถ่ายภาพบุคคลการถ่ายภาพ

นางงามเราต้องถ่ายทอดสุนทรียภาพของผู้หญิงหรือตัวตนในแบบนั้น ๆ

สำหรับตัวผมเอง ทุกอย่างที่กล่าวไปนั้น ทุกอย่างก็เป็นงานศิลปะเช่นกัน

 

JY.คุณช่วยเล่าให้เราฟังเกี่ยวกับการแสดงหรือเหตุการณ์ที่น่าประทับใจ

ได้ไหม?

 

WW.ผมประทับใจงานศิลปะ ที่เป็นได้เป็นคนที่ได้ทำผลงานทุกชิ้น. แต่มี

เหตุการณ์ที่น่าประทับใจมากคือ ประมาณสองปีที่แล้วผมได้รับโทรศัพท์

จากพี่คนหนึ่งที่ตามหาผม  ท่าน ต้องการให้ผมวาดภาพเหมือนของอีกครั้ง 

นำไปติดตั้งที่สำนักงาน ก.ล.ต. หรือสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกำกับ

หลักทรัพย์และตลาดหลักทรัพย์

 

ต่อมาผมรู้สึกประหลาดใจมาก ได้เรียนรู้ว่ามีภาพที่ผมเคยวาดมาก่อน เป็น

ภาพโปรดที่วางไว้ในห้องทำงานที่ท่าน เป็นผู้บริหารตลอด 10 ปีที่ผ่านมา

มันทำให้ศิลปินรุ่นใหม่อย่างผมมีกำลังใจในการทำงานมาก ผมภูมิใจมากที่

ได้เป็นที่ชื่นชอบของผู้ใหญ่ ชื่นชมในผลงานของเรามากว่าสิบปี และ

เจ้าของภาพ ยังคงต้องค้นหาเราและให้เราได้พบกับผลงานที่ผ่านมา

เช่นกัน

 

อีกหนึ่งผลงานที่น่าประทับใจคือการได้มีโอกาสออกแบบและสร้าง

พระพุทธรูปปางนาคปรกถวายในโอกาสนี้โดยสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดา

สยามบรมราชกุมารี วันที่ 2 เมษายน 2558ในครั้งนี้ผมได้รับมอบหมาย

จากสมาคมนักเรียนเก่าจิตรลดาให้ออกแบบและดำเนินการอาคาร โดยมี

การสร้างพระพุทธนาคินทรารักษ์. พระพุทธรูปหน้าตักกว้าง 60 นิ้ว

ประดิษฐานอยู่ทางด้านซ้ายของทางเข้าเมืองน่านฝั่งตรงข้ามพระตำหนัก

ทองน้อยรวมทั้งสร้างพระพุทธนาคินทรารักษ์จำลองหน้าตัก 5 นิ้วสำหรับ

ประชาชนทั่วไป ได้เช่าบูชาในงานบุญครั้งนั้นด้วย. ราคาเช่าบูชาเมื่อ5 ปีที่

แล้วประมาณ 20,000 บาท แต่ปัจจุบันมูลค่าการเช่าบูชาของพระพุทธรูป

องค์นี้สูงถึง 200,000 บาทผมภูมิใจในการออกแบบและสร้างพระพุทธรูป

มาก ประสบความสำเร็จเกินคาด

JY.แล้วอนาคตและเส้นทางของศิลปะจะเป็นอย่างไร ?

 

WW.เมื่อผมรู้ตัวว่าผมอยากทำงานศิลปะในฐานะผู้ให้มากกว่าผู้รับผมจึง

ทำงานศิลปะจากโครงการ Art For Father ต่อไป ผมตั้งใจจะวาดภาพ

พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่ 9 และมอบให้กับโรงพยาบาล

 

ภูมิพลในโอกาสครบรอบ 72 ปีของโรงพยาบาลในปี 2564 ตึกผู้ป่วยหลัง

ใหม่และอีกภาพ: ผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลขอให้ผมออกแบบ ติดตั้ง

ภายในบริเวณโถงต้อนรับของโรงพยาบาลอาคารคุ้มเกล้า

 

ยังมีอีกหนึ่งโครงการที่เป็น นิทรรศการเดี่ยว" พระมหากษัตริย์แห่งราชวงศ์

จักรีและขัติยนารีแห่งสยาม" เพื่อนำรายได้จากการจัดนิทรรศการจัดซื้อ

เครื่องฟอกไตและอุปกรณ์ทางการแพทย์เพื่อบริจาคให้กับโรงพยาบาลใน

ชายแดนใต้ 3 โรงพยาบาลที่ในหลวงรัชกาลที่ 9สร้างขึ้นหรือตาม

กุศลผ่านโครงการหรือหน่วยงานอยากวาดภาพรัชกาลที่ 10 ในอดีต

พระมหากษัตริย์หลายพระองค์ทำประโยชน์ให้กับประเทศของเราอย่าง

มากมาย ผมอยากให้คนรุ่นหลังตระหนักถึงชาติไทยว่าการเดินทางของคน

ไทยไม่ได้เพิ่งเริ่มต้นเมื่อเราเกิด เราไม่ควรลืมรากเหง้าของเราเอง

 

ผมได้มีโอกาสทำงานในด้านอื่น ๆ อีกมากมายตามความใฝ่ฝันที่เคยมี เลย

ต้องหันกลับมาถามตัวเองว่าเราอยากทำอะไรในชีวิต แม้ว่าตลอดเวลาผม

ยังคงทำงานวาดภาพและงานศิลปะอย่างต่อเนื่อง แต่ผมยังรู้สึกว่าผมไม่ได้

อยู่ในจุดสูงสุดของงานศิลปะที่ตั้งใจเอาไว้ ผมไม่ได้เดินในเส้นทางศิลปะ

อย่างเต็มตัว ผมเคยชินกับการมีผลงานระดับประเทศแสดงงานบางอย่าง

แต่มันก็เหมือนกับการจุดพลุดอกไม้ไฟแล้วก็หายไปลับไป

 

เพื่อนรุ่นเดียวกันของผมบางคนก็อยู่ในแวดวงศิลปะอยู่ตลอดเวลาอย่าง

สวยงาม หรือบางคนก็ยังไม่ถึงจุดสูงสุดเหมือนกัน แท้จริงแล้วมนุษย์ไม่มี

ข้อจำกัด ในการทำงาน บางคนอาจจะคิดว่าอายุเลยวัยกลางคนแล้ว น่าจะ

เป็นเรื่องยากที่จะมีชื่อเสียงเพราะมีศิลปินรุ่นใหม่มากมาย เกิดขึ้นทุกวัน แต่

มาตอนนี้จากประสบการณ์ของตัวเอง ผมคิดว่าไม่มีกฎเกณฑ์ใด ๆ ไม่มีคำ

สอนในศาสนาใดที่กล่าวว่า ขีดจำกัด ของการทำงานของมนุษย์จะหยุดลง

ตั้งแต่อายุยังน้อยหรืออายุมาก แต่โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในด้านศิลปะหากเรา

เปิดกว้างที่จะอยากให้ตัวเองมีชื่อเสียงหรือประสบความสำเร็จในเส้นทางนี้

คุณก็ต้องทำมันให้ได้ ทำจนกว่าจะมีคนหันมาสนใจคุณ ชื่นชมผลงานของ

คุณ ไม่ว่าคุณจะอายุ 50ปี 60ปีหรือ 70ปี ผมคิดว่าปลายทางเดียวกัน แค่

เรากลับมาเชื่อมั่นในตัวเอง ศรัทธาที่แท้จริงในงานของคุณความสำเร็จของ

ทุกคนจะอยู่ไม่ไกลเกินไป
